Focusing on nature and its strengths of light, vivid colour and texture, my paintings evoke the tranquil qualities of nature.  Light plays on my thickly applied oils, which are sculpted in a neo-impressionist style, bringing the scenes on my canvasses to life. 

I was trained in Fine Art at University of Toronto, and Film and Photographic Arts at Ryerson. My artistic accomplishments have received accolades at solo and group shows, commissions, consignments of my work in galleries, and at auctions.  My paintings belong to collections in Australia, Canada, China, Switzerland, the U.K., and the U.S.A.  My Bluebell Forest was displayed at the prestigious Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition in London, U.K.
